I've been messing around with cross processing for ages, it's inspiration to actually get out and shoot that I need. I'm going to have a poke around and try to get something industrial - that captured my imagination a bit.

I should also get back into the studio but was getting a bit tired of flaky models. Also I moved house last year and don't have a home studio like I used to - no room for one right now.

Shoot some film cityscapes, late dusk or at night on Fuji RTP 64 (T64 tungsten film), if you haven't already

Do you know or have you heard of Ellis Vener btw? I had a feeling he was from Houston. Has certainly plenty of work from there

I'd imagine the cops would shoot first and ask what all the fuss was about later

Would anyone care to suggest a theme for me to get out and shoot something, I'll do it within a week and then take the next theme, I'll do this until I get started at work again.

I'll take the subject from the first sensible response
How about People - i.e. the homeless, jobless economy hit big city USA? Might pick you up a little also that there are a few worse off than you.

I'm old too. I have no idea of where it came from, it's just a common term on some photography boards I frequent. But yes, my interpretation is the same as yours.

    Edit: Who is Cheryl Cole?

I've been over here a while. I've seen her name mentioned on here a few times but really don't know what she's famous for or what she looks like.

Famous for being in the girl band Girls Aloud, and also trying to make Ashley Cole look heterosexual by being his wife!
