It's nowt compared to what is possible in GTA. It's sinister-no doubt about it, doesn't shock me in the slightest however.

Apparently Avtivision and IW have said that the character you are playing is an undercover CIA agent and some other shite about getting you into the way terrorisst think so you are more focused playing the parts where you kill them... something like that...
sounds like a bit of a flakey excuse to me...

...and to be honest, GTA is not a game I'd go out and buy...

GTA is quite cartoonish though, while COD is much more real.
I don't think it should banned or owt, but there will be an almighty shitstorm with this.

I can't seem much difference between this level, and whats possible in all the GTA games that have been around for over a decade to be honest.

It is like.
More like violence and notoriety sell so let's push it to the limit. It sells itself-millions of pounds worth of inevitable free publicity.

Re: Mordern Warfare 2
To be fair that is pretty shocking, I'm a big game fan but I'd find that rather uneasy.
I can't even play as the Empire in Star Wars Battlefront FFS !

Re: Mordern Warfare 2
I'll probably still buy it, although I'm glad the airport mission is optional, as I think I'd have a hard time playing through it... although I had a problem with Bioshock as well, I just couldn't bring myself to kill the little sisters and had to go through the game saving them all... maybe I'm just a bit gay...

Yeah, it's silly and satirical, while CoD and (particularly) WaW try to blur the lines between reality and fantasy.
Mind, it'll be 18 rated and there are more violent films out there. Plus, there's more mind-warping stuff on the internet than in 1,000 computer games.

The manic and often psychotic possibilities of free roam? Not sure like.
On the whole GTA IV was a lot grittier and serious in its storyline than that of its predecessors.
