    Default Adelaide Ship occupied

Just been on Radio Skunkland, the City of Adelaide ship in Scotland has been occupied by Sunderland councillor and member of SCARF Peter Maddison to prevent the Wearside ship from being dismantled.

About time this got some press coverage.. Seen as tho the Echo has not give it much.. We all need to get right behind this in my opinion. This Ship needs to be back in Sunderland and not rotten somehwere in Scotland.

Should be brought home and made environmentally safe then sunk off the coast as a habitat for marine life and a dive site, therefore attracting business and money to the area.

Good on Peter, a Sunderland councillor doing something positive for the city? whatever next. Sometimes direct action has to be taken when pleading and lobbying fail. I'll be buying him a beer when he gets out of gaol.

Typical of the Echo to fuck it up like. Irving, Glasgow? And there was me thinking it was Irvine in Ayrshire.
