    Default Fifa's 360 Degree Controls

Fifa is saying that this year is 360 degree control. I always us the Dpad for Fifa and don't think I'm getting 360 degree control due to the nature of the pad. I remember when last year's Pro Evo came out there was a green controller which was supposed to have a 360 Dpad. Does anyone know if they're still about and if so, would it work on this year's Fifa ?

    Cheers.

Yes but they are not 360 degrees unlike the green one which claimed to be.

Been playing football games since the original Playstation came out and have always used the Dpad.

Tried to cross over but just can't get used to it.

The green controller didn't have a 360 degree d-pad. What it did have was a more accurate d-pad. The current one is criticized for its inaccuraces. If you press left, sometimes it presses diagonal left.

The limited edition green controller simply made the d-pad more accurate, it did NOT add any more directions. It still only has 8.

I might give the D pad a blast for a laugh, i wont be able to put two passes together.

Is it not worth trying the stick again until you get used to it. It must give you so much more movement surely.

I fear I may have to in order to get the most out of the 360 degree dribbling.

I've played the demo with both and there is definately a difference in the angles of the player's runs.

Playing with the Dpad is the same as last year's, the analogue really shows the extra angles that you can use.

Might be a bit tricky using the skills though if you're not running straight then how do you work out which way to start the right analogue to pull a move. At least when the game angles were more straight then it was easier to work out.
