Re: FIFA 10 Demo
I've used most teams quite a bit now, and I'm sad to confirm that there is an absolutely idiotic handicap system in place. It's much easier to beat the same team on the same difficulty level using Marseille, than Barcelona. With Marseille, I was given all the time in the world and could cruise easy victories on world class against better teams. With Barcelona, they close you down like maniacs on speed and react instantly to your every move. It's also much harder to win possession back.
And I was getting hopeful about playing the AI in this FIFA as they have done away the retarded hidden handicap that made 2 star teams tougher to beat than 5 star teams. There's nothing I hate more in games than hidden handicap systems. Why can't your turn them off? Roll on FIFA 10 Online... I won't even bother to play single game vs AI now that there's finally a training mode.

Re: FIFA 10 Demo
Impressed so far. I could have sworn I read that you were going to be less likely to hit the woodwork all the time in this one. No such luck for me.
Crosses do seem better and more varied. You can actually cross so it looks like its going in. Hope they fix the bookings after advantage has been played in the full game. In the demo, you just see the player's reaction but not the card.
I want to see the keeper sent off now :)

FIFA is shite offline anyway, especially the higher difficulties - the AI just play keep-ball in defense, and the lower difficulties are just way too easy.

Every time you do a standing tackle,it's either a foul or it pings off players like pinball.
The corners and crossing are shit aswell as the penalties.

agreed, i scored a chip shot from 25 yards on my first game, its too easy to do good things on it, really poor to be honest however i like the dualshock thing when you hit the post. but its defs pro evo for me this year

That's probably because there's a glitch on the demo that makes the keepers positioning 1.

Cechs rating on it is only 60odd, I found that a bit strange like!?!

Aye, it's cos of his positioning. Valdez seems to be fine though, and is an 84 rating.

Re: FIFA 10 Demo
Been chuffed to bits so far, 360 dribbling has been a dream. I haven't played vs ai yet so can't comment on the handicaps. Shooting, crossing and passing seem a lot more natural as well. Wouldn't have minded a bash at the set piece editor too.
Tbh tho, no matter how little improvement they could have made from 09 I'd still rather fist myself than go back to pro evo
