    Exclamation Charlie 'The King' Brooker

Back on telly this Tuesday 10pm for new 8 part series 'You Have Been Watching' on Channel 4. Always thought he was wasted tucked away on BBC4's graveyard shift so this is a slot he definitely deserves-even though I doubt the masses will get him. Still, this is excellent news, cannit wait.

    Quote:
Guardian columnist Charlie Brooker is to write and present a new Channel 4 series in which he and a guest will dissect the week's television output.

You Have Been Watching, an eight-part series, will air this summer and will involve Brooker airing his familiarly trenchant views on broadcasting, alongside what Channel 4 calls "funny and famous guests who each in turn will be quizzed on the week's TV shows".

The series, unveiled today as part of Channel 4's spring/summer 2009 programming lineup, is being made by Zeppotron, the Endemol-owned independent producer behind previous Brooker shows including BBC4 series Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe and zombie horror drama Dead Set.

Brooker's new Zeppotron-produced BBC4 show News Wipe, a six-part series focusing on the news media, launches tonight.

You Have Been Watching will be executive produced by Ruth Phillips and Endemol UK's creative director, Richard Osman.

"You Have Been Watching is a brilliant hybrid of comedy quiz show and TV review programme," said the Zeppotron managing director, Annabel Jones. "Charlie has shouted his views on television from the loneliness of his sofa for many years and now it's time for others to try to get a word in edgeways. Charlie will be joined by a funny and thoughtful lineup to give TV the beating it deserves."

The Channel 4 commissioning editor, Darren Smith, added: "Charlie Brooker is absurdly talented, and after the success of Dead Set we are only too happy to be working with him again."

Newswipe and Screenswipe were really good, probably best stuff on TV the last year or so, really looking forward to this new show.

Anyone watch it then? It was canny but the king himself was upstaged by Jamelia's beautiful breasts. Not complaining like. I could stare at them all day long.

Definitely worth it. Proper oiled up and popping out of her top like nobody's business.
