10 posts per page ... change ??

Is it possible somewhere within my settings perhaps, to set the viewing of threads at say.....50 posts per page, rather than the current ten posts. It's just a bit tedious having to click 'next' rather than being able to view the whole thread in one go and scrolling down with my middle mouse button.
I'd imagine most peoples PC and Connections are good enough these days to open a thread of 50 posts in nearly the same time as ten posts.

The default is deliberately low for two main reasons
1) When people get into a refreshing frenzy when something exciting is happening it prevents the server load increasing too much and slowing down as it has to retrieve all those posts for everyone who is accessing them - not just one PC

2) The income we get to pay for the site is primarily from the banner adverts - less page views = less banner ads = less cash!

However you are free to change this to a larger number using one of the options on the link above.
