    Default Milner's handball

... on Villa's home page; "The ball hit my head and my hand at the same time."

Well, at least he admits. I bet Fülöp would've saved the pen had the ref whistled a foul on Chimbonda instead

I like how they also claim it was a 'blatant' trip - MoTD tried to say the same, but the replay showed nothing more than crossing paths and getting his heel clipped. They even circled it so to say "look at Chimbonda sticking his foot out" but he didn't. One of Shearers highlights.

No, we have to learn the lessons from history so we don't make the same mistakes.

In future no short corners to Chimbonda.

    McShane is not a CB.

Not too het up about that one to be honest. If he hadn't given the goal, then it was a clear penalty and Chimbonda would have been sent off.

The McShane penalty was wrong although can understand why the referee made a mistake but v narked about the one we didn't get at the end. Clear handball.

And the handball in the 3rd minute.

if a pen for that had been given against us I would have been gutted. Was ball to hand and nee way a deliberate handball.

Arm was outstretched and the ball was kicked from a canny distance IIRC, no worse than the one at the end.

It came from behind another villa player, took a richochet and then hit his hand. The one at the end was much clearer in my view.

Still, all history now. We lost, end of.
