    Can I just add haversacks to the debate, if no one already has. Duly painted in either the clubs or your favourite bands colours

    I was probably a little too old to be swept up in that particular fashion but I was a devoted follower of DM 18 holers, or brown brogues. With them clacky segs on the bottom. And the ubiquitous Levi/Wrangler denim jacket.

    Still have the same one and am thrilled that I can continue to get into it. Maybe I was a fat bassa then as well.

    Last season at Villa, it was like the land that time forgot, some of their lads in a pub near the ground were still dressed like that, one of the kernts even came, over to ask my m8 what was the name of the road outside, he doesnt have the accent, I nearly pissed myself laughing, Back to The Future indeed
