    Will always remember my first Peel experience - was listening to some Drun n Bass on the radio in my mates car so i rushed home to tape it, when i tuned in at home it was no longer DnB it was some weird Goth music, most confused at the time.

    RIP mate, you will always be a legend.

    Saw him DJ at a tiny club last year......legend.....i can't believe it, but am at least thankful for the top bands/tunes he intorduced me too.

    Yeah, they've already had 'Teenage Kicks' on a couple of times.

    I read somewhere that his favourite gig ever was in Sunderland the night we won the cup (might have been Rod Stewart and the Faces).
