    Default SAFC's scouting system..........

......not functioning as well as NUFC's?

They have unearthed a number of (admittedly French) players over the last few years where we appear to have unearthered, well, not very much.

SAFC needs to up its game in this department.

all those french/foreign players ain't going to do them good if they have euro ambitions.

Let's just say Sess and McClean were mistakes and realise we have a shit scouting system in place just because Newcastle have signed a few players like Ben Arfa and Cabeye who everyone already knew were decent players.

let the new manager get his feet firmly under the table before we judge the set up, just because Newcastle have spent £10m on someone most people have never heard of loads of people are wetting themselves

Newcastle have done very well, and signed some good players, Graham Carr is doing a good job, theres no shame in admitting that.

Id say Sess, and Mclean are 2 regular starters and we got 2 very good deals for them.

We also picked up Larsson, Vaughan and Westwood for frees.

The Ming cost very little, as did Meyler.

I just wish we had gone for Ba, but no harm done.

Im very happy with how our squad looks now, and I think MON does not have to a lot he can picked out exactly who he wants.

IMO there is actually a lot of very good talent in the championship at this moment in time, and its a lot easier to bed one in when you have a solid premier league side.

Who cares about the Mags man!!

    We have SNQ and MON.

The ironic thing is we DID go for Ba but it went tits up when West Ham made it public and complained.

    Henderson and Colback.

Few possibles like Laing, Egan, Noble, Cook and Adams. Meyler, McCLean already on the road. We also have our French lads if you enjoy an exotic name or two., Tounkara and Mancon (Nicked from the Mags IIRC so that should give a Mag obsessive like yourself a massive chub on). I'd say we're doing something right. I'd also say we should be looking elsewhere for our inspiration when it comes to copying a scouting model.
