    Default Gordons Transfer Fee

How much was it confirmed at? Hearts fan at work is certain it was only £6m up front. I thought it was £10m as that is what everyone seems to quote when mentioning him.

I think it was 7m up front and another 2m future fees = 9m.

    from SAFC.co
Sunderland smashed the British transfer record for a goalkeeper with the signing of Hearts shot-stopper Gordon, who signed a five-year contract with the Wearsiders after joining the club in a deal worth up to £9m - also a club record transfer for Sunderland
