Where do we need to improve in January?
I know we have had these threads before but does the win last night change your views on who we bring in/sell/need to replace?
I still think that we are missing a pacey goal poacher but O'Neill must be racking his brains trying to think of someone we can get, there aren't many around for a reasonable price.

A fast centre forward and a centre half for if Bramble gets sent down. I'd hold off on a left winger though, Richardson's making that spot his own imo.

Striker and left back for me. That I think, would be enough.

And with Mclean on the bench I don't think we need another. As we have Colback, who as very last resort could go there.

Re: Where do we need to improve in January?
Lets not kid ourselves. We can improve every position. Priorities for the window for me though would be
Cover for central defence, we are an injury or a suspension away from a crisis.
A striker. As well as Bendtner played last night his past tells us that he is inconsistent at best, Wickham is raw and Campbell will take time to get back. Ji is nowehere at the moment.
In the summer we need to be looking at a left back and a top quality midfield player and with Bendtner going back we will still need a striker.
Five players with perhaps two or three going out. We are not that far away, are we?

A goalscorer and a left-back would do me

I don't see why not. He's scored goals in League 1, The Championship and SPL so knows how to notch.

Re: Where do we need to improve in January?
Agree that we definately need a defender and I still think Onouha is a waste of talent at City so would go for him and he can also play right back or striker!
Still crying out for a left back though, a position Bruce never aknowledged in his 3 year stint, Cissoko from Lyon?
A back four of,
Onouha-------Brown-----Bramble/O'shea-----Cissoko
Looks strong on paper and full of pace and power on the flanks.

I didn't rate Onouha at all
