    Default Death in Vegas

Mate's just offered me a spare ticket for these at Camden tonight....

Now i've never seen 'em and only heard one album of theirs which I found a bit patchy bar an outstanding track with Liam Gallagher on vocals.

Anyone seen 'em live and are they worth my while treckin' the other side of London for? Ta.

Should be good, I think, although they're not doing the guest vocalist thing any more and have moved toward being more of an orthodox guitar band (on the new album at least).

    Scorpio Rising

Cracking track, although reminds me of Quo's Matchstick Men for some reason.

It was all down down deeper and down hill from there.

Rain and Down Down and Caroline were also okay.

It's very easy to knock The Quo but if they had been on Skynyrd's plane they may have been seen in a different light

That's probably true. Most bands end up destroying their legacy if they keep going for 30 years+ too long.
