Default Any Heating Engineers on here?

    Oh wise SMB.

How much would it cost for to supply and fit a MagnaBooster onto my combi boiler?

British Gas have advised that I get one fitted but they want £220 for the pleasure, the parts only £70ish!

if its a magnet thing to remove the metal particles from the system then i just had one fitted to mine at the end of last year. After having the heat exchange bit cleaned / changed about 10 times in a couple of years he then tells me i could have saved a fortune if i'd had one fitted earlier!! British Gas engineer tried to charge me £250+vat but it cost me £120 fitted from a heating engineer fella in ashbrooke.
