Dropped my iPhone down the toilet this morning

Just sat down to drop a load before playing football and it fell out of my hands past the little fella into the pot.Luckily there was no dung to fight through when I put my hand down to retrieve it.
It still powers up but it's jumping about different pages and displaying 'this accessory is not optimised for this iPhone'.
Will it dry out and be ok or is it up shit creek, I bought it private and its not insured.

I did something similar with my N8, it richocheted off the big fella and fell safely on the landing floor
