spoke highly of us on goals on sunday a few weeks back. Enjoyed his time here and expressed regret at his lack of professionalism and said its a shame he cant come back to the SoL (whilst acknowledging that was his own doing).

Daft for doing what he did but was a cracking player for Sunderland in a two year spell which provided exciting football.

It was as if they were told not to mention the t shirt incident or summit, a wouldn't care but he did well for us when fit and probably just hitting his prime

Good player for us who acted stupidly. At the time I thought he could have gotten over the incident if he had apologised immediately. However hadnt he already decided that he was going to leave that summer as he did not want to play for Sunderland against Newcastle.
Very small minded attitude for a professional footballer as at the time he could not have been that far away from the England squad but decided to take the cash from Fulham and return to the championship.
Wasted a year or two of his career.

He was top notch for us, he celebrated like one of us, which is all anyone could ask for.

The t-shirt thing was a hiccup, hardly the crime of the century.
