Default The new Nightmare on Elm Street movie

Has anyone here seen it yet? If so, what's it like?
The originals are one of my favourite series of films, albeit ones where you don't have to think much

1 of me pals went to see it last night and said it was dreadul, boring as fuck as well.

I'm still gonna check it out though just to see how they managed to fuck it up, must be the Michael Bay touch.

Er why? Because I appreciate a bunch of films for what they are designed for which is a bit of pure cheesy escapism?
There's no b-movie style film that you like then, or perhaps a decent schlock horror or just pretty much something where you don't have to exercise your brain cells too much? That would make you the sad individual I reckon if it were the case but I highly doubt it is.
