Default Just looking on safc.com and Cana got man of the match 11 times in first 17 games

And 1 of the games was Norwich in which he didnt play.

So thats 11 from 16 voted by the fans

People seem to have forgotten his early season form.

He was never going to keep that up with it been his first season in English football and the team hitting a bad spell with injuries etc.

    Short memories.

It's a good thing that, in reality, it's only a small proportion of clueless SAFC fans that don't rate him.

If someone was to create a thread entitled "Do You Rate Lorik Cana" and asked for only a Yes or No answer, you could probably name most of the posters on here that would say No.

some of his early season performances were on par or better than any single performance from anyone ive ever seen in a sunderland shirt, he's been poor lately though.

When Reid and Malbranque were badly out of form some started looking for Cana to be the playmaker which he will never be and thats not the reason he is in the team.

With added quality next year around him I think Cana will go onto even greater levels.

his lack of pace, patience and focus on his role within the team are the main problems he has - these were apparent even during his early form

I agree mate, I thought he was good yesterday without pulling up any trees.

Next season with a more settled team (esp. back 4) and hopefully 1 or 2 more creative players around him he will be able to express himself on games a lot more.

He wasn't even that good at the start of the season, Just 1 stupid flying tackle from him would get a hell of alot of praise. Unfortunately most supporters here would rather see grafters here than actual technical brilliance.

11 MOM's from 16 games clearly proves your talking out of your arse.
