Default Most you'd spend on a car

Looking into ideas for my next motor, but as soon as I see them over 10k I just think, why bother.

Really want a 5 series or A6, or an x-trails or jeep patriot, but cant seem to get over the 10 grand park, even though I could afford more.

What's the most you'd ever spend in car?

Looking to buy one in the Summer, it'll be my first car and I don't want to spend more than 3k. I've saved loads more up but I can see me needing it for other things and any car more than 3k will probably cost me loads insurance wise.

Went out for a packet of fish flakes once and came back with a 12k Prelude.

Those days are now gone as I look at me LPG C1

Apparently me Granda once left the house in a car and when he came home he had a dog instead.

He'd traded the bugger for a dog in the pub!

Just a pity I drove the cunt off the garage with the hand brake still on and smoke coming off the wheels. During those times, the only cert was that I would have ended up where ever I was was, with a curry.

Having had quite a few 5 series I'd recommend them, everyday of the week. Fantastic motors if looked after. You'll get a very good car for 10k (if you're not a plate snob).

Obviously not that good if you've had to replace your 5 series several times for 10k at a time. People don't replace good cars willy nilly. They run them into the ground then buy another good car to do exactly the same.
