    Default Nicklas Bendtner

Just watched the Sunderland v Man City Game again and what I noticed was how important Bendtner is for us! He fits perfectly in to our system, He might not score a lot of goals but he is vital for us, his first touch is up there with the best I have seen at our club, He is a good passer of the ball and he links up well with Sessegnon and Wickham. And the amount of ground he covered v Man City and then 3 days later v Wigan was very impressive

What I think is the most important thing about his play is that as he is isolated a lot of the time his control buys us time to get the midfielders up to support him. I think this is proven in the amount of Good chances we had v Chelsea

If we could buy him (id rate him at £8 mil) and get him on a decent contract I think he could help us become a real force

First touch? Have you been smoking drugs again?

Hopefully the people who abuse him realised how important he is to us when he had to come off on saturday and suddenly we had no outlet to hold it up.

youre lucky its late, but you'll still get shot with shite i reckon.

for whats its worth im inclinded to agree with you somewhat but he still doesnt work hard enough for the team imo and needs to start offering alot more to be worth an outlay by us. but he is our best option alongside sess atm IMO

i really dont think he is, i think if we had a heskey type (not heskey, but wouldnt go nuts if he came till the end of the season)
    would suit us better.

big lad who stays on the other teams centre halves is what we need, imo

I didnt think any one could question this? His first touch is quality, we just lump it up to him and most of the time time the ball sticks to him , unlike with Wickham yesterday

I agree at times he doesn't work hard, But i think thats mon's challenge to keep him at the work rate he had v wigan + city

With him - City + Wigan + Chelsea
With out him - Peterbrough + Swansea

I know which games I think we played better and had better chances in!

i try to be polite to everyones opinions on here but haway,
bendtner is never where id want him (on centre halves toes)

we do not retain the ball well upfront

alot of players first touch let them down, main factor which let swansea close us down so quickly and often.

agree with above, think a heskey type or even heskey himself would be a decent acquisition, esp with bendtners fitness in question now, if we could pick heskey up for £1m or so on a 12-18 month contract and cheap wages it would be productive.

however id be fine seeing what wickham and ji can offer until bendtner is fit again too
