    Default Dinosaur Tactics yesterday

Pass it back to Gordon who hoofs it to their central defenders, who head it back to their central midfielders (ours went missing).

Bent and Gyan aren't target men so why persist with the long ball tactic.

Bruce has got to take the blame.

His players, who lacked the courage to get the ball under control and pass it properly, should take the blame.

    They bricked it.

You actually think that Bruce told them to do that?

Baffled by us resorting to the long ball game, if we wanted to do that why didn't we keep Jones? Bent and Gyan were by no means good yesterday IMO but they must have been sick chasing the long ball every time we had possession in the second half.

It's works well when you have a T-Rex to provide some bite in midfield.

    Of course he didn't.

Their arses dropped out and they reverted to type.

It's not about technique. It is about courage.

The big problem with both Bent and Gyan, neither have any hold play
they seem unable to keep the ball long enough to allow the midfield time to support.
