Just been reading about the new Juve stadium. To be honest I thought they still played in the delle alpi!
Strange to think they redeveloped their new ground to be a fraction of the size of the old one and that Juve play in a ground 20% smaller than ours.
Is Italian football really on it's arse at the mo? I know theyve lost a champ Lgue place to the bundesliga.

Juve is the best supported club in Italy..unfortunately not in Turin where they come from though

I thought they moved because the Delle Alpi was a soul-less place.

Not sure about the ins and outs of the ownership though.

I'm sure you'd say the same about Man Utd, however Juve have never really had big crowds for some reason

Everyone in Turin supports Torino it seems. Juve played a game in Bari a few seasons ago and the stadium which holds about 60k sold out with Juve fans.

In Gtr Manchester I´ll say that United dominate the western parts and City the eastern parts so it´s not really comparable.

I think the fact that Juve have bad attendances are partly because Juve is considered a club for the establishment while Torino was the working class team in Turin.

I heard this the other day and was shocked that it only holds 41,000!

Well the new stadium (smaller) sits on top of where the Stadio delle Alpi stood. It's not really convenient to get to from Torino. And that's why the supporters hated the Stadio delle Alpi in the first place.

While their new stadium was being built, Juve shared the Stadio Olympico with Torino; this stadium is small but located in the city itself. So instead of complaining about distance, everyone complained about a lack of seating.

Anyway, the new stadium is smaller than the old Stadio delle Alpi, but much bigger than their temporary home at the Stadio Olympico. And it's supposed to have lots of luxury suites to generate revenue and be more profitable than the old stadium. In any case, it'll still be a pain to get to if I ever get to visit again...
