how much can I borrow, 35 years repayment. I earn just over 26k, our lass 5k. Nee adverse credit. We only have 5% deposit. I know there are sites for this but theyre not as objective, I find, as the men and woman of the SMB. So how much, maximum like?

maximum depends on the lender, try looking on some lenders sites like first direct, hsbc, barclays, nationwide, halifax, post office etc.

the reason being they will want to know your income and outgoings and this will give you an indicative estimate of what you can lend.
