Default I'm back! Great result today

Great win for the lads today, and we move on and up, bring on the next round! MOTM had to be Cattermole, never put a foot wrong and was very commanding in the centre of midfield, Arse were never able to overrun us in the middle of the park. O'Shea and Turner looked world class compared to Djourou and Squillaci and kept RVP quiet all day, who is currently arguably one of the best forwards around.

It's obvious that MON has done fantastic work here, but he has restored something more than just our pride and passion that we rightly deserve, he has restored confidence within the players and fans. Under Bruce even if we had gone 2 goals up we still would have been nervously thinking "We are still going to lose it here" and we always seemed to expect the worst case scenario to take place, but that it acceptable after the horrible string of results that we had to put up with through 2011. The fans confidence has been restored, and they believe in our club once again, I mean the were fantastic. Noise from the faithful deafened the stands all day, and the crowd never stopped singing their hearts out. The support is what motivates the players to get going and at times today I thought we could grab 3 or 4. When have we ever thought that this was possible against teams such as Arsenal? This alone shows the progress we have made in the last 4 years.

And finally, all these bullshit attendance threads that are smeered all of the board tonight are pointless and pretty stupid. Yes, some people may have planned to be in attendance at the match today, but could not because they have genuine excuses for not being there, but we must understand that there is a recession going on, and people just can't afford to get to the match every week, and rightly so as they should be thinking about other things before putting the issue of football first.

Overall, very proud of the lads today, and I have a strong gut feeling that we are going to make it to Wembley, after all it's what our club deserves after many years of disappointment and sorrow.

    Keep the faith.
