    Default Euthanasia

What are your opinions on it?

It's shocking that people who clearly have no quality of life anymore can't choose to die, but I can see why so many countries are against allowing it - there are just so many difficulties, it's not as simple as it sounds. Can anyone choose to die? Depressed people, for example? And if it is just terminally ill people, where do you draw the line what quality of life is bad enough to be allowed to die?

    Minefield.

It would probably cost more money in counselling and lawsuits than it does to keep them alive

Isn't that when all the Euthanasians have their national celebrations

    Minefield is right.

Great in practice but the safeguards need to be water tight. Euthenasia rather than nil by mouth until dead might be a good start though.

there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there who would knock people off
left, right and chelsea given the chance. stopping that would be the biggest challenge.
