    Default recognised gym instructor courses?

Been looking at getting involved with working in the fitness industry, altho iam getting on a bit ive looked at doing a diploma at college but dont think this route is right for me. Is there any other courses i could do which are informative and recognised to get work with?
Ive looked at future fit company which looks quite good and they also run a nutrition course which is also of interest.
Any advice would be appreciated, cheers.

The diploma is a waste of time to be fair
Plus there is loads of personal trainers out there already and most gyms have sufficient staff
Best to keep as a hobby, I got sick after a few months of playing football every day , Zzzzzzzz
