Obviously when you win in that fashion it's so much easier facing questions.

But still impressed with the way MON talked about the crowd and the players...he is intent on praising both and restoring the confidence and partnership of both.

Have a horrible feeling that if Bruce had still been here and we'd won in the same manner (which probably would not have happened) there would have been some vague slight at the fans and self justification.

Of all the problems it was this growing disconnect between players and fans that, to me, was the overwhelming reason a change in manager had to happen. MON knows that repairing that relationship is first and foremost..and it doesn't have to wait until the January transfer window to make happen.
