Agree pace is important in the modern game and for the premier league, but
1) He isn't that slow, and 2) A number of other players have made it to play as a very successful lone front man without this

Stead averaged 1 in every 3 and a bit games before joining blackburn where he was even worse, Rhodes averages better than 1 in 2 at Huddersfield
