Default This is a real test for ellis short now.

The man has never been heard in public before, will we now see that change? Even when Quinny had stepped down as chair, he was down at the ground after Bruce departed, speaking to players. He helped communicate with fans over the search for a new manager etc, he even drove Oneill to the training ground on his first day!

Do people think Short will start communicating more now?

Suspect he will do his communicating through Margaret Byrne.

He does give the odd interview, usually at the end of the season, but i do expect to most of the boardroom news to come through Byrne.

The timing is bad, there's a rabbit loose somewhere.

Don't talk bollocks. Niall's last assignment was to secure the sponsorship for next season in Africa and he spent the best part of last month in Ghana.

Should he have left at all? With Quinny gone we are in a significantly weaker position to grow as a club bearing in mind how many of the decisions that have put us where we are today is down to Niall.

I knew he would leave but was certain it would be at the end of the season, hope there's nothing more to this, be a shame if things ended badly.

It's his choice and has been on the cards for ages. He has his own business and has never had a chance to spend time with his family, working for our club 24/7.

    He's done his job.

The timing is really good - we're finally doing well and on the up.
