Careful where you stick your foot....jellyfish have clogged up the vents at Torness and closed it down

went for a plodge in the sea at Shields for the first time in years on sunday and there were a load of jellyfish in there then. And loads of kids screaming 'JELLYFISH!!!' as if they were great white sharks holding Gary Glitter's Guide to Grooming under their fins

I worked on the Torness NPS in the late 80's/early 90's - I don't think we thought of that hazard.
