Obviously were all hoping they have a tough game tonight which takes it out of them a bit ahead of Saturday but what result do people think would be most beneficial from our point of view? Are we hoping they get beat so confidence will be knocked a bit and they go into Saturday with heads down a bit or hoping they get a result meaning that they'll have more of an eye on the next leg thinking they can get through and maybe take focus off FA Cup a bit, I'm not sure which would be best tbh.

I hope they win - it would be very unusual for Arsenal to win three away games in a row.

A late 2-1 defeat will do. Late goal will hopefully knock a bit stuffing from them having grafted all game, but only the 1 goal in it so they will still have s chance in the 2nd leg

The second leg isn't next week so perhaps their thoughts may not be predominantly on CL, I fear they will be concentrating on the FA Cup, they also have CL qualification (next season) in their minds so perhaps they will just be "taking one game at a time".

Result, I hope they have a win they may then be slightly more over-confident. I am though hoping that the extra game , and travel, will take a little bit out of them.

Does it matter? It's got a 1-1 written all over it regardless of Milan result. Back to Emirates for a replay and extra time, with Arse coming out on top

Injuries to RvP, Koscielny and Vermaelen (just enough to keep them out of Saturday's game ) would be a start.

any result that means they still need to do some work in the 2nd leg - as ;long as the tie is still alive, its probably more important to them than the fa cup

Apparently AC only relaid the pitch on Monday!

Might be a few knee injuries tonight then....
