    Default Bankruptcy

Looking at the Wylam Leisure thread got me thinking.

In these tough economic times is bankruptcy the black mark it used to be?

Seem to remember something about grant bovey owing 4m quid but then coming back smelling of roses?

So, is mr griffiths fucked or will he be back in no time?

He won't be the first entrepreneur to go tits up and won't be the last, I suppose it's how he treats his creditors which would dictate whether he deserves a second chance or not. High risk can lead to high reward but also to falling flat on your face, without people ready to take those risks we'd live in a pretty sterile environment.

His companies have gone into administration but they can't touch his personal assets - limited liability. He will keep his millions.

It's no more than a business device these days. You can guarantee that even if the companies are 'skint' on paper the owner personally will be in clover.
