Spent months there over the years, night life is pretty good nowadays. Where are you staying, I might have a few pointers for you.

I spent a month out in Beijing 6 or 7 years ago, one of the guys over from Singapore took me to a club where you can pay for the company of lady for the night, for me being in my early 20's and having 20-25 women line so you cna pick was a cool experience!! As far as I remember this was just like a normal nightclub too, not anything dodgy!

I went over for a week a few years ago.

Great place, but didnt go anywhere at night that I wold consider good. just a few bars and most of the foreigners were overweight and middle aged flashing their cash.

Grand Millenium Hotel, near the Workers Stadium and Ritan Park. Also worryingly close to the seeming Mongolian temptations of Maggies Bar....(or so I am told)
