    Default Wasp nests

How does one get rid of one?

There's one hanging from my shed roof, shape/size of half a cricket ball.

Whack it with a stick and run?

Expanding foam. Just fill it till the foam is coming out of any cracks then admire your handywork.

hitting it with a stick is the best way but you have to do it naked, makes all the difference

Naked but for a cape and a pair of y-fronts on your head, apparently.
