    Cool Epic Song Endings

Simon & Garfunkel's The Boxer. The way it builds up into a great wall of sound of drums, strings and lie-la-lies, and then calms right back down for the guitar to finish off, awesome.

^^^ This. You think its ending two or three times, then there is that expansive rising guitar just before the real ending that sends shivers. Awesome.

I would add Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes (the album version). Sticking Rachmaninov style passages into a rock song is pretentious, ridiculous, incongruous and precocious, and because of all these things it's absolutely brilliant.
