No it's not. Apparently the Egyptian tournament fell through and they have arranged a series of friendly matches. They will get a tough run out playing Linfield they have got a good side by all accounts

    Eamon,
What's this I read about you saying Linfield have quite a good team. As a Glentoran supporter, Linfield are my Newcastle, and I would never let such an outlandish statement go unchallenged!
Hopefully Sunderland will stuff them on Tuesday.

We had about 20 along with the Banner at the game against Linfield youths in which Sunderland won 7 nil. Louis Lang was outstanding as was John Egan as was Jordan Watson who hails from Northern Ireland. I was also impress by young Elliott up front who bagged 2 goals.
The Lads played some very slick football keeping the ball on the ground and using the wings very well.
Lovely touch at the end of the game when the Sunderland youths saw our banner and came over and everyone of them shook our hands a really nice touch. They are a credit to Sunderland AFC and particularly Kevin Ball and his coaching staff.
Kevin being the gentleman that he is took his to come over to us and spend some time chatting to us about the Academy and seemed genuinely pleased to see us.

Enjoyable match last night. Sunderland played very well. 2 good results- Sunderland won 7-0, and Linfield lost 7-0!
Going to the Glenavon match tomorrow-Wednesday. Both matches were moved at the last minute- doesn't help.
