Sir
In light of the forthcoming Tyne and Wear Derby match I'd like to request that as a license payer and season ticket holder (of one of the teams involved)) you consider your choice of "supporters representatives" to interview in the build up to the game.
Recently you have sought the views of publicity shy Steve Wraith to represent Newcastle United supporters.
Whilst I'm sure his views represent a tiny minority of the Geordie Nation I feel picking the pea sized brain of a pseudo gangster is not in keeping with the foundations on which the BBC was formed.
Following the 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light in January 2011 Steve was critical of the behaviour of some Sunderland supporters, however the BBC allowing someone who claims to have a close relationship with East London gangsters' the Krays and other notable criminals in the nations capital is hardly suitable is he?
If a child is murdered in the North East in the future will you be seeking the views of Mary Bell? I think not.
Steve aka "The Geordie Connection" is not the type of supporter the BBC should be providing further publicity to, I'm sure the best party city in the world must have sevral potential supporters who are eloquent and reasoned in their pre-match predictions?
Kind Regards
