Saw a lad i used to work with years ago at the weekend.

So i walk over, shake his hand and say the usual hello mate how ya doing.

He says aye fine then You're looking well.

I sort of mumble aye, back at ya sort of thing and made my excuses.

Does anyone else think that this is a strange thing for a bloke to say?
