iOS 5 Update Help

Just doing it now but it's saying I need to restore iphone to original settings to update and restore and that data will be erased. Is this message what everyone else has been getting? Don't want to lose all phone info.

Now all my apps have disappeared - how do I restore them? Or do I need to remember what they all were are d/l each one from the store again?

Maybe sync with your computer? They should all be backed up.

Everything else seems fine (and as yet haven't noticed to much change - although it has freed up a couple of GBs space).

I'll re-sync it and if that doesn't work I'll just d/l the apps that I need for the time been.
