Thinking about booking this for next year :

    http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/group...0_0_333&a=2463

Is it worthwhile going for the 3 Day one or could you do everything decent in two days?

Don't mind paying the extra but If you can do the main things in 2 days then that would be fine for me.

On a side note... can get 3 nights in Madrid for similar price once you factor in flights... so considering that one too.

    Do the 3 days mate.

The Vatican alone is pretty much a full day.

Been twice and loved it both times...

I'd disagree. Rome is my joint favourite city in the world. Loads to see, do, eat, drink and shag. The archaeology and churches are stunning. The food is exceptional if you go to the right places. The weather is lovely. I absolutely love the city. Loads to see - but depends on your taste. You could have a day at The Vatican and another seeing The Colosseum and The Pantheon. If you're into such sights then go for the 3rd day.
