Seems to have gone off the boil in recent weeks. I thought he was particularly in the second half against Blackburn and seemed to be lacking confidence to create things yesterday.

Worth benching him for a few matches?

He is a kid learning his trade, it's to be expected, so yes dropping him might be a good idea.

However some on here will now want him sold as he is not playing very well.

He looks like he could do with a rest. He also looks to be playing further and further back the longer he plays in central midfield.

Completely anonymous yesterday. Time for a few weeks off imho, he'll come back better for it.

I still maintain he's not a central midfielder yet, and I'd like to see him paired with Elmo down the right.

I thought he was good against Blackburn. Sprayed the ball round superbly.

Honestly, I think he always is in the middle, its down the right he is a prospect.

He's had a few good moments this season and they've pretty much all come when he's found himself down the right hand side.

Really? Everytime he got the ball he either played a 5 yard pass to Cattermole or played a safe pass to one of the full backs. Expected much more from him, given the fact that we were playing against ten men.

Have to say I much prefer him playing on the right wing, doesn't seem to have any influence on the game from centre midfield.

Me too. It may be a tad early to move both of them yet though. Henderson to the right for now, move Elmo back in a season or two.

Quite possibly but I don't think that's the way he sees it.
