Most of my team from work are doing it. I will probably see them as they run past the Harbour View.

Wish I was mate. I've got a run in Newcastle at Exhibition Park 16th July which I hope I'm ready for. Once I get over my injuries I need to knuckle down to train for the GNR. Target was to get under 1:30 this year. Then the Kielder Marathon in October. No chance of running at the moment with 10 broken ribs.

I'm supposed to be doing it, all paid for etc. but with my knackered ankle I've not been able to run so it's highly doubtful I'll make it.

If I'm not you can have my entry, buckshee and for nowt ... as long as you're within 10% of my target time of 32min 27seconds.

Not sure. It's more of a training / coaching session sponsored by Powerade. I think you get a coaching session, do a warm up, get nutritional advice then do a run. From your time they then calculate your estimated time for the GNR and give you advice on how to adjust your training. I might not bother if the ribs are still sore. By the way, I found out who knocked my off my bike. I'll ring you mate and tell you the latest.
By the way, if anyone witnessed someone getting knocked off there bike Sat 14th May at about 2:30pm in Gilesgate, Durham please send me a pm.
