Strange how they're 'always' so shite in the beginning of seasons. Watched their game yesterday and sure, they missed Arteta and Fellaini as starters, but that team may very well struggle this season (with struggle I mean possibly ending up 10th, as they're expected by most to end up 7th).

Beckford in particular was truly, truly awful. One of the worst dislays I've seen by a forward in a long time ...

Where do you think they'll end up?

I really feel sorry for Moyes, he would do a cracking job given a bit more money. He's the type of manager we need - he certainly would have got the fuckers fired up for the game yesterday as he takes no shit. He's just as scary as Roy Keane but far superior tactically.

You never know. A win at Swansea and we've started our season 1-1-1 which isn't catastrophic after an away trip to Anfield and a derby ...

Didn't get to see our game but as far I understand the problem wasn't that weren't fired up... correct me if I'm wrong. Bruce ain't playing on the pitch.

Hes one of the best managers in the league, i put what hes done with everton up there with what wenga has done over the years at arsenal. To get everton into europe into cup finals and most season finishing in the top ten having spent fuck all with a club that seems to be falling apart behind him is unreal achievement.

It doesn't take much to be tactically superior to Keane mind.

Much rather have Keano staring at me with anger than Moyes. Moyes stare is just freezening...

He took big gambles on players who came from the championship like Jagielka, Lescott and Cahill and has reaped the rewards.

£5m for Baines, £4m for Jagielka, £2m for Arteta, £1.5m for Cahill, £3.5m for Neville, £3m for Howard, £150k for Coleman - some great buys there.

Actually, having looked they have spent some dosh in recent years. £15m for Fellaini, £6.2m on Heitinga, £9m for Bilyaletdinov, £5m for Distin, £11.25m for Yakubu.
