Can't wait to see what he can do after he's had half a season to settle in and see what's what.

If there's one thing where I don't think MON is ace it's in the transfer market. 'Worried' we'll get some over-the-hill players, British or at least players who are playing in Britain, in through the door during the summer.

Don't want any Carlos Cuellars or Andy Johnsons but I think we'll get a pair of players of the profile in. +30y who have done well but who are now nothing but average at best. We'll see...

Really? He has made some mistakes, but who hasn't? Even Fergie has wasted loads of cash down the years.

At Villa MON signed Young, Milner, Downing who were young players who did very well for Villa and who the club sold at a very large profit. Cuellar wasn't the best but not a total flop and still features I think. Reo Coker was a flop, and Cutris Davies was always injured.

Of the "older" players Dunne and Friedel were astounding value.

Nowt to worry about at all.

I agree but they've really taken their foot off the pedal lately. We've been shocking for weeks. Man City was a fantastic effort but we'd have been better off had we lost that game and beaten Wolves.

He's made good and bad buys like you say. Only thing that worries me is that he always seems to do his business in the domestic leagues and rarely ventures out into Europe to bring in players.
