Open letter to Steve Bruce
Dear Steve,
I am 55 and I think that I represent the middle ground as regards assessing your tenure as manager. Perhaps for two years, fans on this SMB might have classified me as a “happy clapper”.
Nope, but I did give you my full backing although I questioned some of your thinking at times.
No blame for Bent or Gyan in my books.
I still give you my full backing because you manage my club but I have growing reservations about some of the stuff you do.
Like:
v Ars, why did you take off Seb, our best crosser of the ball, when you put on Ji and Wickham? What did you think that they would achieve without some kind of service from the wing?
That’s just one example. I am too weary to list others.
You are rapidly losing the SAFC fan base by your daft excuses and by questioning why us fans are unhappy about hovering above the relegation zone.
Please man up, lad. Don’t hide behind ridiculous “excuses”.
Do a weekly SAFC TV spot where you explain your tactical thinking after each match and answer our questions. That would be a good thing to do if you have the cojones. I doubt it, TBH.
Right now, you are making fools of us and the club. I don’t want you out yet but many do.
Please stop your pathetic bleating and do something about it.
Good lad.
D

I've never understood why people start threads like this. He's never going to see it.
Why not just say your opinion on Bruce, without sounding like a tit.

He took Seb off because he was tired as hell at half time already and felt his calf 2nd half, and you can't really say that just because you took Seb off you can't bring on attackers ...

Re: Open letter to Steve Bruce
I would say:
1) Apologise, build bridges with the fans
2) Stop blaming everyone and everything else for our bad form, look in the mirror
3) Stop managing with fear
