Annual Charity Quiz

Our end of season quiz was held on Monday 17th May and it turned out to be the most successful yet.20 participated on the night representing 10 Premier and 3 championship supporters branches.
A particular pleasing aspect was the high turn out from our own branch suitably attired in the red and white.
At half time 20 teams were split into 10 premier and 10 Championship

Premier 3 way tie on 109 points.but after tie break the result was
1 Psycho Hose Beasts
2 Don't sack Rafa(Everton)
3 Pat Mustwerd Fan Club .

Championship
1 Obi Wan Kenobi nil 89 points
2 Funky Claudes 87 points
3 Fergies Wonders 84 points
£740 was raised and presented to our designated charity Helping Hands
(Autism support group)
Thanks to Howard for preparing the questions Roy for being MC. all those that gave a hand. To all our members who donated prizes and to the Botanic Inn for their sponsorship and use of facilities.

Just to add- Eamon's contribution said 20 participated. That was 20 teams. There were c.130 people present, representing about 15 different English teams. Everyone seemed to have a great time, and a local charity for autistic children which the daughter of one of our members helps run,benefitted by £740

Was a great event - we just keep raising the bar year after year.
