If he does that then it is a very clever move. It essentially puts him in a win-win situation with Grant getting the blame either way.
If they win then they go into next season with a spring in their step knowing that, despite the shite of this season they have a few decent kids to hang their hat on in the Championship and they can say 'look what could have been under Grant, but instead he signed all that over-priced shite'.
But if they lose then they say it was only kids, shows how bad a state the club is in after Grant, we're bottom anyway so it doesn't matter etc...
I would rather be playing their normal, dispirited, under-performing, over-paid and over-hyped XI then a hungry team of local kids today.
