Default FFS leave the FA cup alone you TW@TS!

How does everyone feel about the FA cup been discussed by the muppets at the FA. Personally I think they're all a bunch of dinosaurs who haven't got a clue what the average fan wants or just don't care. They've already fucked the Wembley situation up, and letting GayLord Treesman offer Postman Pat an extended contract before the World cup, just makes me think WHAT THE FUCK DO THEY KNOW! In my opinion they should leave the FA cup alone it's an institution around the world and they seem hell bent on fucking it up. Rant over!

As much as i love the FA cup, the only thing that will save it long term is getting the winner a place in the CL (and that will never happen).

We do that that any interference by the FA/Premier League/Sky/ESPN/PFA, WILL be aimed at making it easier (and maybe with less games) for the 'BIG 4/5/6'.

    Seeding is a possibility.
And so is 2-leggers (An extra game, but you can always rest players in one leg or the other) And always offers a protection against shock one-off results. As a fall back, for the likes of Liverpool, who may not get a place in the EL, via league position.

    Do NOT underestimate these bastards.

No way will it go to 2 legs, they're trying to reduce games.

I'd happily see replays scrapped but I definitely wouldn't want to see seeding.

Although the higher placed league team being away could be interesting.

If they do seed then the highest seed should be away from home for rounds 3 -5 at least

I never said that it would be brought in mind.
I meant it would be one of the things they would consider, if it aided the big 4/5/6.

They are trying to reduce games, but only when convenient to the top teams.
Don't forget that the La Primera is a 20 team-38 game league. They play 2 leg rounds, in Copa Del Rey. It helps the likes of Deportivo, Villareal. Atletico etc, should they have an off year in La Liga.

    Do not trust these fuckers.

Agreed- I still think that the FA Cup winner deserves a CL place more than 4th in the league. Fair enough if the winner of the FA Cup has already qualified for the CL through league position (which if you look is almost always the case), then let 4th get CL rather than the FA Cup runners up, but at least offering the FA Cup winners a CL place would give teams a bit of hope- currently the vast majority of sides have absolutely no chance of finishing 4th, but with a lucky run of fixtures in the FA Cup they just never know

I'd also make another (probably unpopular) change- I'd get rid of FA Cup replays. I think attendances would rise slightly if people went to an FA Cup game knowing they would see the tie settled. It'd be a shame for some clubs who need the extra money from a replay I suppose, but whilst people keep complaining about too many fixtures, this would be a way of reducing it for some teams (that and scrapping the fairly worthless, although i'd love it if we won it, league cup)

The FA Cup is the FA Cup and changing it will be a disaster

How any fool would think that seeding the big clubs is the way forward is a idiot.

Take away the big clubs and the minnows have little to look forward too
