Accomm in Stockport - anyone help?

Hi All,

Looking to go down there for a week or so to visit relatives. Any advice re decent accomm and/or any sites to find some.

All genuine replies greatfully rec'd.

(I don't want to stay in MANCHESTER before anyone says stuff along the lines of don't go or book in MCR instead)

Where in Stockport? Town centre?

There is a Premier Inn in Cheadle, less than 10 minutes from Stockport town centre

bredbury hall hotel ( can be lively )
Premier Inn just off the A34
The village hotel ( quite nice ) in cheadle, 5-10 mins from stockport town centre
quite alot of smaller independant / cheaper hotels on the A6 running south of stockport town centre
